European Academy of Medical Sciences (EAMS) is an independent non-profit international academic honor organization with headquarters in Hannover, Germany. The objectives of the public society are: to improve scientific exchange in the field of medicine worldwide, to educate continually medical specialists and to support research work. The Academy is politically, ethnically and confessionally neutral.

The Academy unites outstanding scholars as well as professionals and policy makers engaged in cutting-edge medical research and committed to promoting the development of medical technology.

EAMS aims to promote the innovation and development of medical science and technology, facilitate interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary international cooperation between medical scientists in Europe and their counterparts worldwide. The Academy plays an important role in improving human health and social development.

The purpose of the Charter is realized through the organization of the following activities:

  • practical and scientific-educational medical activities;
  • support of scientific publications;
  • organization of national and international events (congresses, symposia, courses) and practical seminars in the field of medicine;
  • facilitating the exchange of students and staff from medical faculties and clinics in different countries;
  • assistance in the preparation of various activities, including public evaluation of the qualifications of medical specialists;
  • awarding and conferring honorary public titles of the Academy;

The academician member of EAMS is the acknowledgement of the practical and scientific input of a professional in the field of medicine. The academy annually nominates scientists who have made significant contributions in clinical medicine, public health and preventive medicine, pharmacy, and other fields as new academicians.

Our nominants will be awarded the European Medal of Medical Honor. Their work on exploring the forefront of medicine and promoting human health and medical development is highly appreciated, as it represent the best accomplishments of the medical science in Europe.

At present, academicians of the EAMS mainly represent recognized practitioners and scientists from European countries, USA, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Brazil, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Ukraine und etc.

Policy

The purpose of the Academy is to serve as a basis for organizing project and research proposals as well as professional development opportunities, and promoting scientific medical exchange.

The Academy is politically, ethnically and confessionally neutral.

Its purpose is to advance science and research and to promote education and training.

The Academy takes an interdisciplinary approach to its policies. We bring together the medical, biological, technical and social sciences to explore opportunities and find ways to overcome barriers to progress in medicine and health care.

We publish working group reports, statements, consultation responses and discussion papers. We connect our members with policy makers through workshops, roundtables, private briefings and networking events.
