Dr. Bagirova Nigar Ramiz gizi

Dr. Bagirova Nigar Ramiz was born on September 1, 1972, in Baku into a family of doctors. In 1989, she graduated from Secondary School No. 6 with a silver medal and, in the same year, was admitted to the Preventive Medicine Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical Institute named after N. Narimanov.
In 1995, she completed her internship in the Toxicology Department of the 1st City Clinical Hospital named after Semashko. Since 1996, she has worked in the Intensive Care Unit of the Republican Toxicology Center as a toxicologist-resuscitator.
In 2001, she was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. That same year, she was appointed Head of the Intensive Care Unit at the Republican Toxicology Center.
In 2013, she was invited to work at the hospital of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan as Head of the Therapeutic Department, where she continues to work to this day.
Since 2023, she has served as the Scientific Secretary of the Society of Toxicologists. Since 2024, she has also been a lecturer at the Department of Family Medicine at the Azerbaijan Medical University.
She is the author of scientific articles and methodological guidelines and has received government awards.
