Faiq Abdullayev Mammed Sadiq

Faiq Abdullayev Mammed Sadiq was born on May 7, 1956, in Baku.

In 1973 he graduated from high school and, in the same year, entered the medical institute (now Azerbaijan Medical University). In 1979 he graduated with honors. In 1980 he finished the internship and from 1980 to 1983 he worked in Lankaran City Hospital.

From 1983 to 1987 he worked in the United Hospital of Oil Miners as a doctor. In 1984 he worked for 2 months in the Burdenko Neurosurgery Institute in Moscow in the department of functional diagnostics. In 1985 he worked for 2 months in the Hospital n. 52 in Moscow (as an internship). From 1987 to 1989 he was in the clinical residency in the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev in the department of therapy.

In 1989 he entered the graduate school of Medical University, and in 1992 he defended the candidate thesis.

From 1992 till nowadays he is working in the Medical University in the department of internal disease, currently as a docent. Since 2021 he has been the chief therapist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Docent Abdullayev has 67 publications on cardiology, gastroenterology, and co-authored 2 medical textbooks.

He participated in several medical conferences.
